The cookbook Many Cultures, One Community: a book of stories and recipes was created by Friends of the Library and the Pelican Rapids Multicultural Committee. It is a collaboration between those two organizations and the School District #528 and Otter Tail County Public Health. It was funded in part by grants from the Pelican Rapids Economic Development Committee and Underwood Unitarian Universalist Church.

Copies of this book are available at Mercantile on Main and Riverview Place in Pelican Rapids.

The book The Faces of Change, by Joan Jarvis Ellison, is an expansion of the Faces of Change traveling documentary exhibit. It talks about the changes in Pelican Rapids during the last several decades as new immigrants moved to the community.

It is available at Riverview Place, Mercantile on Main and the Otter Tail County Historical Society in Fergus Falls, which published the book.
